The first 25 people who come to Ripley\u2019s on Saturday, May 26, 2018 and successfully eat a cricket will receive free admission that day. The crickets are whole and roasted, and available in three flavours: Sour Cream & Onion, Salt & Pepper, and Bacon & Cheese.<\/p>\n
The Eat a Cricket, Get a Ticket offer is a part of Ripley Believe It or Not! Odditorium\u2019s 99 Strange Days of Summer promotion, to celebrate the company\u2019s 99th year in business.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re interested to see the look on people\u2019s faces,\u201d says Matthew Jelley, president of Maritime Fun Group -PEI, the company that operates the Ripley\u2019s franchise in Cavendish. \u201cWe expect at least one person in every family will be willing to try it. Only the first 25 get in free though.\u201d<\/p>\n
Ripley\u2019s Believe It or Not! Odditorium in Cavendish will be having similar events every month this summer. The next challenge is June 23, 2018 and will challenge people to eat an entire BeaverTails Pastry without using their hands.<\/p>\n
