Shining Waters Family Fun Park is adding some extra sweetness to the park with a brand new food service outlet, nicknamed the Sugar Shack, which will be welcoming a BeaverTails Pastry and Shipwreck Fudge & Sweet Shoppe.<\/p>\n
The Sugar Shack will serve the iconic BeaverTails pastry, fried dough hand-stretched to resemble a beaver\u2019s tail, cooked fresh and topped with delicious toppings. The outlet will also serve BeaverTails poutine, BeaverDogs, and MooZoo smoothies.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have two BeaverTails locations at Magic Mountain, and they\u2019ve proven to be extremely popular,\u201d says Matthew Jelley, President of Maritime Fun Group-PEI. \u201cWe expect it will be just as popular at Shining Waters. Who doesn\u2019t love pastry topped with sugar and other delicious toppings?\u201d<\/p>\n
The new Sugar Shack is currently under construction, and the tasty treats will be accessible from both the Shining Springs Water Park and Buccaneer Bay.<\/p>\n
The BeaverTails pastry has been a popular Canadian treat since 1978, and now operate over 120 locations worldwide, and focus on areas with high tourist populations, such as amusement parks and ski resorts.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are also excited to add our own fudge to the selection of sweets at the Sugar Shack. We\u2019ve been selling it at Mariner\u2019s Cove Boardwalk, and we are happy to be offering Shipwreck Fudge at Shining Waters, where it is handcrafted right on site, using ADL butter,\u201d continued Jelley.<\/p>\n
